Public Law

From 1997 to 2004 Colin built up a practice in education law on behalf of children and parents, including extensive experience in appeals to SENDIST, and also in admission and exclusion cases and negligence actions.  He also developed expertise advising on community care law over the same period, obtained several legal aid contracts and held LSC accreditation as a supervisor in both categories of law.

Both specialisms involved frequent judicial review applications challenging local authority decisions and he retains an interest in this work.
